The Australian Army Cadets is a national youth development program and partnership between the Australian Army and the community.

252 Army Cadet Unit (ACU) meets at 7 Murphy Lane, Orange, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Mondays during the school term.

The unit is also re-establishing a Bathurst detachment and is currently recruiting cadets and adult volunteers for 2026.
